The bodyweight fundamentals program will teach you the basics of gymnastics strength training. You will learn all of the basic strength skills like push ups, dips, hanging leg lifts, pistol squats etc. This program is meant to prepare you for more advanced programs like the muscle up program, L-sit program and such. You will also develop basic mobility to improve your health, posture and performance in the gym!

+ Duration of the program?

  • The duration of the program is determined by your previous experience, how much work you put in etc. It will essentially be different for everyone, depending on the circumstances.

+ Who is this program designed for?

  • The program works well for athletes and people of all levels. It is however specifically designed for someone who is a complete beginner to bodyweight or gymnastics strength training. If you are an intermediate athlete this program will fix and improve your technique.

+ What equipment do I need?

  • You need to have access to some basic gym equipment like a pull up bar, dip station, a stick, and preferebly a weighted barbell.

  • There are ZERO requirements for this program.

+ How long are the workouts?

  • The workouts are going to vary both in length and difficulty. Most workouts will be between 45-60 minutes depending on your rest period and how much time you spend to warm up, stretch, cool down etc.

+ How many workouts each week?

  • I will give multiple options for how often to workout using my program. My mimimum recommendation is to perform the workouts and all of the progressions in the program for a minimum of 2x per week.

+ What are the goals of the program?

  • The goal with the program is to teach you the fundamentals of gymnastics strength training and prepare you for more advanced GST skills like the planche, manna and front lever.
